Salote is crocheted with 100% acrylic yarn and filled with premium polyester fiber fill. Her tekiteki (headpiece) is made with soft feathers. The kafa (belt) is crocheted to resemble the beautiful leaves and flowers from the Kingdom of Tonga. The teunga (costume) would not be complete without the pule'oto shells (cowry shells) that are worn around the neck, wrists and ankles. With her flexible limbs she is ready to perform the Tau'olunga.
